Jacopo Tabolli is a Type B Fixed-term Researcher in Etruscology and Italic Antiquities L-Ant/06 at the University for Foreigners of Siena, where he is also the Rector’s Delegate for Cultural Heritage Education. A student of Gilda Bartoloni, he received his bachelor’s degree in 2006, his master's degree in 2008 and discussed his doctorate in 2012. Between 2015 and 2017 Jacopo was a postdoctoral researcher at Trinity College Dublin, where he also taught, and Research Associate at the University of Cyprus. From 2017 to 2021 he was Archaeological Officer for the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the provinces of Siena, Grosseto and Arezzo. Jacopo directs the archaeological excavation of the Bagno Grande at San Casciano dei Bagni and co-directs the SEASCAPE project on the Island of Giglio. He has received funding from national and international research institutions. He also co-directs the excavation of the Laona tumulus at Palaepaphos, Cyprus, as part of the PULP project directed by Maria Iacovou.
